FLEAS, TICKS, AND OTHER FALL DANGERS

Leaf piles give fleas and ticks plenty of places to hide. Rake up any fallen leaves, trim trees, shrubs, and cut your grass regularly. Even if your pet stays indoors, fleas and ticks can find their way inside via doors and windows, clothing, and on other pets. Let’s talk about the best options for your furry friend.

Keep your yard free of fallen leaves and continue using preventatives year-round. Keep antifreeze locked away and clean up any spills promptly.

Rodenticides are highly toxic to pets. Consider trapping pests instead of poisoning. We hope you enjoy an awesome autumn with your pets!

BEWARE OF ONLINE INFORMATION

Type in “sick pet symptoms” in Google and you’ll get over 140 million results – and much of this information is not fact-checked! While education from credible online sources is a great thing, there is no substitute for veterinary care from a licensed veterinarian.
